Who and what is DeNic Photography?

DeNic Photography is the newly launched photography company of Tiffany “Dizzle” Trott located in the Denver Metro area of Colorado. I previously worked under the name of Tiffany Nicole Photography. You can still access this site using the domains www.tiffanynicolephotography.com.

I decided to change the name and focus of my business for a few different reason:

Tiffany Nicole Photography is really long to type out. I wanted something that was a bit shorter.
DeNic is a name I have used for many years for another entity.
And finally, DeNic has a personal meaning to me that really is the drive behind me pursuing photography again.

So no big issues, just felt it was time for a change.

You will still receive the same great service you are accustomed to and the same great images in the end.

Who is this Dizzle person?

A while ago my buddy and former shooting partner Erik Landru started calling me T-Dizzle. Well around the office it took on a new life and everyone started calling me Dizzle. Then friends outside of work started calling me Dizzle…and well it just stuck. My mom and dad call me Tiffany. Feel free to call me either…I will answer to both. I am the proud mom to three wonderful, somewhat camera shy, kids and two crazy dogs.

What is your photography experience?

I have been a hobbyist photographer since HS (many moons ago). I really just enjoy taking photos and at some point someone asked me why I wasn’t doing this as a job. Well, I love my hobbies…and I learned long ago that making your hobby your job is not always the best thing to do. So in my mind and heart photography is and always will be a hobby for me. That way I know it will always be FUN! During the work week I am a web application developer and that job affords me the luxury to be a “hobbyist” photography all other times.

What do you shoot?

Well as far as equipment goes, I am a converted Nikon shooter. My current set-up is a Canon 50D body with a few top of the line lenses that are great for portrait work.

As far as subjects, I shoot just about anything that is requested of me. My love is of portraiture of children and families. I shoot a lot of youth sports as well.
